I. Production
Production, Trade and Service Enterprise ALMOT was established in 1983 as the workshop dealing with production of pistons and cylinders for combustion engines for the domestic market. Transformation of the political system in Poland and professional ambitions of the crew resulted in distinct development of the company since 1990. New production and social buildings have come to being. The state-of-art production processes have been introduced in the field of foundry. Stock of machine tools has been exchanged with CNC machines, which resulted in increase in quantity, assortment, and quality of our products.
At present, the enterprise employs over 70 highly-specialised workers and it manufactures more than 180 various aluminium spare parts for motorcycles and mopeds, though we still specialise in production of pistons and cylinders. Perfect quality of our products, meeting our client's requirements, allows for maintaining business contacts with more, than 600 Polish recipients.
Our products are also valued on the foreign markets. They are known in Europe, Africa, and America. In order to make the quality of our products even more reliable, in 2002 the quality management system ISO 9001 was introduced in the company. It is worth mentioning, that in 1994, exportation of our products reached the level of 35% and in 2005 it exceeded 60%. Further increase in exportation has been observed in the current year. The company is proud of the fact, that most of exported, highly-processed products are sold to such difficult markets as Germany and the U.S.A.

II. Motorcycle warehouse
ALMOT's activity also includes trading service through the warehouse of spare parts and accessories for motorcycles and mopeds. At the beginning, on the basis of ALMOT's own products, only the in-site sale of products was run. With rising interest of the clients, since 1992 the wholesale house sells also products of other manufacturers. The company's development results in starting another form of sales, namely canvassing. In 1998, further development of our activity was observed in connection with construction of the new, vast warehouse building. Since that time, considerable increase in imports and exports of motorcycle articles in our offer has been observed, which allowed for constant increase in turnover in that field.

III. Bicycle warehouse
Since 1998, the dynamically-developing warehouse of bicycle parts and accessories makes a part of the company. Increasing interest among clients in imported and local bicycle spare parts, that we have observed lately encourages us to develop our activity in that sector. In 2003, sales of bicycle spare parts made even more, than 50% of the company's income.
It shall be also stressed, that in 2002, the company considerably increased importation of bicycle spare parts from Asian countries. In order to encourage new clients and meet the demand of our present partners, in 2004 the company bought nine additional Mercedes trucks with 12-ton lode capacity, increasing the total amount of those trucks to 14 pieces. Thus, the possibility of further development of our offer with new, mainly imported items appeared. At present, we have been co-operating with more, than 1500 partners in Poland. Since the season of 2005, we also included complete bicycles in our offer, which resulted in making it even more attractive.
